“FSDTV Mobile” is the optimized product for one-segment broadcast receiving devices, and is based on the DTV software package “FSDTV Middleware for ARIB”. It already has the basic functions for one-segment broadcasting reception, which can contribute to the reduction of costs and lead time for your product development, and in turn enables you to shift your resources to the development of value-added functions. This middleware will strongly support your development of products that are competitive in the closely-contested market for one-segment broadcast receiving terminals.
Mobile TV is not only for one-segment broadcasting. Mobile entertainment, absorbing more fun and convenient services like radio, music downloads and data downloads, is evolving continuously. Based on the cross-platform architecture, as depicted below, FUJISOFT has created software which supports mobile TV standards across a variety of platforms, responding to the needs and demands for such services. We have also been developing various applications pursuing better and more enjoyable entertainment.
In the cross-platform architecture above, the horizontal axis indicates the evolution of broadcasting standards. We have been pushing ahead with development to support broadcasting standards from around the world and Japanese broadcasting standards such as one segment and three segment broadcasting.
Mobile TV entertainment is constantly evolving. While people can enjoy TV anywhere, there is an increasing demand for better sound quality such as 5.1ch, and movies, TV programs re-runs, and the ability to view programming stored at home all while on-the-go.……the vertical axis indicates the entertainment evolution to satisfy such needs. In Japan, multi-usability is a feature of cross-platform development, which allows support not only for individual broadcasting standard but multiple broadcasting standards by combining them together. “FSDTV Mobile” enables you to develop multi-use product that supports the reception function of three segment and/or full segment terrestrial broadcasting in addition to one segment broadcasting reception. |
